Maravi (Derived from the Spanish word maravilloso which translates in English to marvellous or wonderful, which this villa truly is). This house really has the “Wow Factor” situated in what we consider to be one of the best parts of Jávea. It was originally designed by a famous architect for his own family home and has just been completely re furbished and improved.

Maravi floorplans
Maravi offers:
- Heated swimming pool
- 6 double air conditioned bedrooms (4 of which are en-suite). Sleeping 12 in comfort. There are a further two double bed-settees sleeping another 4 if required
- 2 bars (including pool bar)
- Magnificent sea views gardens and pool area
- Wireless internet. (Some laptops are not compatable using the wireless, but can be connected via a cable) There is no computer at the villa.
This was our first house we purchased in the summer of 2003 originally as our own Spanish house, the builders took a year to complete the extensive works, which included a completely new designer built swimming pool and purpose built bar and cooking area, the house has been designed as a home, where no expense has been spared. Such is the design of the house it is suitable for a couple seeking privacy, a corporate event or two or more families.
The house is serviced by an English speaking couple who live nearby. They are hotel trained and can provide most services you would expect from a 5 star hotel. Including arranging transport, baby sitting services, shopping and restaurant booking. Please note this is self catering accommodation, bedding and towels are changed on a weekly basis, should you require additional services, they will be charged at cost.
Internally Maravi offers:
- 4 large double, air conditioned, bedrooms with bathrooms en suite (our designer was not given a budget for the bathrooms, hence the quality) Most bedrooms can be made up as doubles or twin/singles
- If more than one family is sharing you will find there is not just one master bedroom as they are all designed as master bedrooms. However, one bedroom has a separate dressing room which has a sofa bed, which might suit young children
- 2 further large double air conditioned bedrooms which share one bathroom
- A spacious lounge with satellite television
- Modern fully equipped kitchen, with separate laundry room. Also adjoining the kitchen is a half covered outside area, with seating which has an original working bread oven (great place for a relaxing evening meal)
- A new purpose built balcony offering spectacular views with table and seating outside the dining area
- A 40 foot Naya (covered terrace) which is comfortably furnished for relaxing and enjoying the views
- The Liquidator Arms a full working Pub Style bar.
Externally Maravi offers:
- Extensive landscaped gardens on both sides of the house. There are many areas to hide away and relax in, including a purpose built BBQ area, a separate Gas BBQ on the other side of the house. Several sun terraces and shaded areas
- The real high light though is the swimming pool area, the pool is a very well designed walk in pool, with a tasteful rockery and waterfall going into the pool. Next to this is a purpose built bar area, where we have a fridge freezer and two grills for meat and fish and plenty of seats, next to this we have a changing room bathroom and shower
- The swimming pool (13m x 5.7m x maximum depth 1.8m) is not fenced in and due to the open nature of this area we do ask families with young children to exercise extreme caution.
It is very difficult to convey how relaxing Maravi is, we have holidayed in many parts of the globe, but last summer we spent an idyllic 2 weeks with family and friends, just relaxing by the pool all day and venturing out in the evening. We have spent considerable time in putting together a good local restaurant guide which caters for most occasions (we have yet to have a bad meal and the general standard is comparable if not better than at home, cost is about 30% less).
